Volunteer Opportunities
First Impressions
First Impression Team members are our frontline to showing people week after week the love of Christ the moment they enter on our premises. Some of the areas you can serve on the First Impressions Team: Parking Lot Attendants, Door Greeters, Welcome Center Hosts, Coffee Shop Attendants, Ushers, Safety and Security.
New Life Kids
At New Life Community Church we are crazy about our kids! And being able to serve by creating a safe and engaging environment to learn about Jesus is a great way to serve. Creative Arts
The Creative Arts Team has the privilege of leading the weekend services at New Life. The team consists of musicians, vocalists, sound techs, lighting techs, visual artists, actors, dancers and all around creative people using their talents to point people to God. New Life YTH
New Life YTH serves with students 7th -12th grade & is one of the most rewarding opportunities available! We believe that some of the most pivotal years in a young believer's life is in the middle school and high school years. If you would like to know more, contact us below or checkout our YTH page.
Embrace Grace
Embrace Grace is a ministry dedicated to supporting single pregnant women—our Blooms—as they walk through one of the most vulnerable and beautiful seasons of their lives. Each week, we gather for Bible study, encouragement, and community. We also host a special Baby Shower to celebrate and lavish love on each mom at the end of the semester!
Missions
Our Missions Team is here to bring the love of Christ outside the four walls of New Life. We do this in various ways, focusing on local missions projects here in the Gardner/KC area.
Meal Makers
Our Meal Makers Team is here to provide people in need with the warmth of home cooked meals. Whether they are celebrating or grieving, we are here provide ease with the gift of hospitality.
Vintage Park
Vintage Park is a heartfelt outreach where our church brings Sunday worship to the elderly residents of the nursing home. Each week, volunteers share a short message, lead music, offer prayer, and spend meaningful time visiting with the residents. This ministry is all about compassion, presence, and reminding our seniors that they are seen, loved, and not forgotten. If you feel called to encourage, serve, or simply show up with a smile, we would love to have you join the team!
NEXT Young Adult Mentors
Our Mission for NEXT is to foster an environment where young adults (18-29) build unshakable faith, find genuine community, and step confidently into whatever God has NEXT for them. We are looking for Adults (32+) who are interested in passionately serving alongside us in mentoring the next generation.
Prayer
Our Prayer Ministry exists to cover our church, services, leaders, and community in faithful, consistent prayer. Each Sunday morning, our team gathers to seek God together, intercede for needs within the church, and pray for His presence to move in our services. If you have a heart for intercession and a desire to stand in the gap for others, we would love to have you on the team!
