We believe doing life together in community is important. That is why we have LifeGroups. Our LifeGroups are the “life line” of our church. We encourage every person to be a part of a group of 10-12 people doing life together like Jesus did with his disciples.
So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.” – Acts 2:46-47 (NKJV)
What are life groups?
Life groups are a great opportunity to grow in your relationship with God and build friendships with other people just like you! There are two main types of groups: “Connect” groups are aimed at relationship building in a community of believers while growing through a study and “Grow” groups put the emphasis on the study and tend to have a more regimented study (i.e. you’ll probably have homework.)
When do groups meet?
Each group chooses what day and time they would like to meet, so there’s not one specific time! Groups meet 10-12 weeks during the fall school term, 14-16 weeks during the spring school term and during an optional 6-8 week summer term. Please consult a group leader for more details.
Is childcare provided?
Some of our groups may provide some form of childcare. Each life group is different. However, it is always the parent’s responsibility to make arrangements for their children during group time. Consult your group leader for more information or ideas.
